The pups are growing like weeds. They have eyes and ears open and are starting to growl and play with each other. They still walk like little drunken sailors and are quite amusing to see fall over when they try to walk at more than a snails pace. We added toys to the whelping box this week and the pig rails are coming out so they don't sneak out of the box...yet. Now that they are two weeks, they are being carried around the house and can spend some time hanging out on a blanket in the living room getting used to the normal sounds of a busy household.
Miss Blue loves to snuggle under the pig rails- she is getting in one more snooze before they are taken out to make more room for the growing pups.
The pups are starting to realize there is a world outside the box and are getting curious.
Miss Yellow may be the smallest pup (by only a few ounces) but she is mighty as she topples her bigger brother- mr purple
Red decides to snooze while the other pups try to wrestle
The pups are quite mobile and shoot around the box but it is still a half crawl/half walk with a lot of falling over
Nap time- the pups tire out very quickly and go from playing to sleeping in a matter of seconds
Ooof- you are heavy!
getting situated for a group nap
Aahh- nice and warm and comfortable
Love the fat, shorty muzzle
So peaceful
White wants a better spot
Red gets displaced
Bianca takes a well deserved rest
The pups get geometrical
I love the forehead to forehead snooze of purple and blue
Congratulations on the lovely litter! If any are not yet spoken for, I'm looking for a breeding female. s gallagher, Philomath, OR
